This case study documents the Cash Preparedness (CVAP) journey of the Georgia Red Cross Society (GRCS). GRCS first used CVA in 2015 in response to flooding and began its institutional cash preparedness investments in 2019. By the end of 2025, the GRCS had used CVA in their emergency response to natural disasters and migration crises.
