تقنية دفتر الأستاذ الموزع وسلسلة الكتل
يدعي البعض أن سلسة الكتل والفئة الأوسع من تقنيات دفتر الأستاذ الموزعة (DLT) توفر طريقة أكثر شفافية وقابلة للمساءلة وفعالة ومأمونة لتبادل المعلومات.
ويقترح أنصار هذا الرأي أن تقنيات دفتر الأستاذ الموزعة يمكنها معالجة المشكلات الشائعة لـلمنظمات غير الربحية و المنظمات غير الحكومية (NGO) مثل الشفافية والكفاءة والنطاق والاستدامة وفقًا لــ (Accenture, 2017).
تتعلق المصادر في هذا القسم بشكل خاص بمجال الابتكار والبحث داخل RCRCM (حركة الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر) وقطاع تقديم المساعدات الإنسانية الأوسع.
في مايو 2018 أجرى الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر (IFRC) بالتعاون مع جمعية الصليب الأحمر الكيني (KRCS) مشروعًا تجريبيًا لاستخدام تقنية سلسلة الكتل ذات الحلقة المفتوحة في المدفوعات في مقاطعة إيسولو (Isiolo County) بكينيا (Kenya) بمساعدة أكثر من ألفي أسرة متضررة من الجفاف.
حيث كان الغرض منه هو استكشاف مخاطر تقنية سلسلة الكتل وفوائدها فيما يتعلق بوضع برامج التحويلات النقدية و القسائم الإنسانية.
