Register for the upcoming DIGID Webinar to learn more about the Experiences from Dignified Identities (DIGID) in the Migration context, in the Humanitarian Cash Assistance and continuity of Healthcare. The Dignified Identity in Cash Assistance (DIGID) project started in 2018 and the first phase was piloted in Kenya as part of cash assistance during Covid-19 targeting vulnerable populations without any form of identification.

This webinar aims to present the projects supported by ECHO on this topic: DIGID Interoperability Initiative and CCD Data Portability project. The DIGID Interoperability Initiative is exploring the technical aspects required to enable the secure and safe exchange of data between systems. This project is being implemented by the Dignified Identities in Cash Assistance (DIGID) consortium comprised of IFRC, Norwegian Refugee Council, Norwegian Red Cross, and Save the Children Norway. The CCD Portability project seeks to identify and lay the human capacity and governance groundwork for data portability and ‘putting people at the centre of data management’.

The Cash and WASH Technical Working Group (TWG) is promoting the broader use of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) and Market-Based Programming (MBP) in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement for WASH outcomes. While the number of practitioners in Red Cross Red Crescent network using CVA and MBP increases, it is not always easy to find our place within different approaches, methods, and tools. The TWG is excited to invite two practitioners from South Asia to share their experiences in this session.
