Overview of the Myanmar Red Cross Society’s (MRCS) programmes supported by IFRC in Rakhine. MRCS has been offering assistance to communities in Rakhine since 2012, initially targeting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Multi-year programmes for village-based community resilience commenced in 2015 and livelihoods restoration programmes in 2019.
