In 2016, flooding in Pakistan’s Balochistan province destroyed over 1,000 homes and left over 8,500 people needing support. The British Red Cross and the Pakistan Red Crescent gave cash grants to families to buy essentials including food, medical care and materials to rebuild their homes.
