For this reason, we are constantly monitoring and evaluating our activities to ensure that they result in the desired impact. This section focuses on the effectiveness and impact of humanitarian cash assistance programmes, including findings from these processes, best practices and lessons learned.

Impact of covid-19 on refugee populations benefitting from the Emergency Social Safety Net (ESSN) programme: Assessment report

The rapid assessment was conducted from 8-14 April 2020 and included 468 households. Information was collected on the income and employment situation, access to basic services and ability to use the Kızılaykart.

Lessons Learned Exercise: Emergency Social Safety Net (ESSN) Task Force Coordination in Turkey

It looks at how the Task Force achieved its objectives by engaging with humanitarian actors outside of the ESSN and the various coordination mechanisms created to assist refugees in Turkey. Key findings are organized according to: what worked well; gaps/risks; and key takeaways, under three main criteria: (1) relevance/appropriateness; (2) effectiveness; and (3) interconnectedness and sustainability of engagements.
